Big win. It was tight up to the end. Even when we had the lead in the second half, I knew it would go to the wire.

It shouldn't have been that close at the end imo. Tennessee took the air out of the basketball too early. Starting at about the 3:40 mark, they stopped running the offense and started running the clock.
Cade also fumbled away a huge rebound on the missed Mizzou FT which led to a 3 and was huge in aiding their comeback.
In the end, it was a really good win against a team that I think has the potential to be really good.

Agree. I thought they slowed it down a bit early. The offense was working pretty well. But, they survived. They will have to continue.

Yeah, no excuse for missing a FT rebound in that situation. Hopefully its a one off

The last minute lasted almost half an hour If any basketball game is anywhere close then the last 60 seconds last 20 minutes. Shot...foul....timeout....shot...timeout...foul... commercial...Shot...foul...timeout....etc etc etc. I've turned plenty of basketball games because of it.

After Kentucky, I thought we might go 0-3 on the homestand. Will take 2-1 and off to Oklahoma.

Three really tough road games left (UK, A&M, OM). The goal should be to steal one of those and sweep the rest.

The lineup of ZZ, Gainey, Chaz, Igor, and Felix/Cade was very productive offensively.

but they weren't at Auburn. As I noted on TOS. It is opponent dependent what is the best lineup (that went soaring over some heads) That lineup should work against KY but possible not against OH for example

AU is obviously better defensively, though.

I liked the fact that with a lineup of our best perimeter shooters on the floor, they took fewer 3's than normal. There was much better penetration from paint production.
