Things that irritate me..........

OK, it's basically a long list.

But for tonight, it is the broadcast of the second game of the double header of the Lady Vols vs. Mississippi State in softball.

This game wasn't originally scheduled to be the second game of a double header, but because a big rain is coming in for tomorrow, it was changed.

The first game was televised by SEC Network Plus (+). Normal broadcast. But the second game, also on SECN+ was far from normal. (This is the irritation.)

There was one camera, a play by play guy but no color commentator, limited replay (If any. Wine clouds the mind.) and no scoreboard on the screen. It was like high school radio broadcast with a GoPro camera strapped to the netting behind home plate.

Granted, as the announcer said, this game wasn't originally to be a double header. And he explained that camera angles were limited. But they were scheduled to be there Sunday. Where did they go? Couldn't they have stayed for the second game?

Lady Vols won 8-0 in five innings.

The first game, the LV's got stomped from the get go.

But they won the series. And Mississippi State isn't a bad team.
