Wouldn't that be interesting since Syracuse is our first opponent.

If the SEC didn't have the one year sit rule for spring inter-conference transfers, I can name at least two coaches inthis league who would be all over him.

With right Rev, he at least would learn new ways to lose

Here's an idea for UNC.

Give Nico $1 million guaranteed, but a contract that would pay $5 million if the Heels win a national title. Realistically UNC pays $1.5 million, but Nico's camp claims they got a $5 million deal.

Wouldn't work for Big Nic

I could see Tennessee going that route with the right player, it fits Danny White's MO with coaches (see Tony and Kim's contracts)
Also, Rick has the highest bonus schedule in the mens game

I heard the UNC rumor over the weekend from a bammer friend. Found it unlikley.  Belichek's whole MO at New England was to find guys who loved playing the game for the sake of the game and were not obsessed with money.  He has a low tolerance for "me first" athletes, with the sole exception of Randy Moss (you might throw in Gronk also).

Belly picking up a player like Nico who has repeatedly held out for more money with a very average frosh year would seem highly unlikely.
