Baseball Woes

I trust the coaches to figure it out long term. Lack of offense has been a bigger issue than suspect pitching this year.

I'm tempted to go with young guys almost everywhere to get them reps. Ensley, Kilen, Fischer, and Bargo can start. Gotta think about Chapman, Curley, and Peebles. They're not bad, but not consistently dynamic.

I think the weak OOC schedule to start the season at something like 18-0 gave us a false sense. We have a young team and it's showing  at nut cutting time. I believe we are 9-9 in our last 18 games. Highly doubt we get to Omaha unless we catch fire and I'm not sure this team has the leadership to catch fire.

Excellent point about the easy start.

I was on record (not here) before the season saying this team would be a success if it hosts a regional. That's still the case.

This last series with vandy should tell us something...if they show some fire I will feel better heading into the SECT.  If not...

That's not the last series. We're at Arkansas next week- which right now looks like a bloodbath.
