Mighty nice of our benevolent NCAA overlords to actually allow the home team to be the home team tonight.

From tos...

For the first two games, seeds 1 and 2 are home (1 versus 4 / 2 versus 3).  After that it is a 5 step process for each game:
The team with the fewest home slots will be the home slot.

The team with the most visitor slots will be the home slot.
if both teams have been home and visitor the same number of times AND the two teams have previously played, then the home/visitor is switched based on their most recent game.
If both teams have been home and visitor the same number of times AND the teams have not yet played one another, then the team that has most recently been a visitor will be home (assuming the other was home).
Coin flip
======

In game 1, we were home because of our seed.
In game 2, Cincinnati was home because they were visitor in their first game ... rule 1 is used
In game 3, Wake Forest was home because they had 1 home game and 2 visitor games (Tennessee was 1 home and 1 visitor) ... rule 2 is used
In game 4, we should be home because Wake has 2 home games and we have 1 home game ... rule 1 is used

I get it, but it's a stupid rule. How hard would it be to just make the higher seed the home team? You play all season to get in this position, why not be rewarded for it?

8-2, but we can't let up. I don't trust our defense and what few arms we have available to hold this lead.

LNS was LIT tonight

It was totally off the hook when Tony went to the mound and we knew Liam "Psycho" Doyle came in
You could not hear his walk in music it was so LOUD
Then he throws the first warmup at 101 and you knew he was juiced

His average fastball velocity was 3-4 MPH HIGHER than his average all year
I think Frank only called 2, maybe 3 off speed pitches.
Liam was bringing heat, with movement
He once said to a hitter before striking him out (I'm serious) "You're fizzleed"

Meanwhile, After the 3rd and 6th inning s the backups run to the bullpen and back
Marcus stayed out in the BP in the 6th
Marcus was wanting the ball in the bottom of the 9th
Tony went all in with Liam and the players were all in backing up that bet

As an aside, got to speak to Cal Stark and Dylan Dreiling last night, they were in the next section over
Also, sitting behind Tony's dad was Cade Phillips and Nate Ament

Speaking of former players:
