He just needed to settle down some. I was surprised our defense gave up that many points. Just improve every week. Syracuse ain't UGa. I watched some of UGa's game. That D can still play as usual. One game at a time. ETSU will get rolled. Stay away from more injuries. Injuries can ruin a season faster than Dooley's coaching.

Actually he has an issue with his delivery that they have been working on since arrived
Net result is the balkl goes high
In the heat of the game he regressed but received remedial reenforcement in game

FWIW Merk has gone through a comprehensive retooling of his delivery as well

Hope they can get it corrected. After game 1, who pleasantly surprised you and who kind of underwhelmed? I think our RB room is loaded again. Still worry about giving up 26 to 'Cuse. I don't think it matters they won 10 games last year. FSU only won 2 last year and beat Bama...lol. so go figure. I do hope Sanders can go before we play UGa. That would be a rough game to start a season against their DL.

Pleasently surprised, worried a bit about the defense.

ETSU will lose for sure, but they have two QBs who transfered from P4 schools, and their coach is the one that gave us more of a contest than anticipated at Austin Peay a couple years ago. Tends to do well against P4 schools.

Just saying if I was betting I might take ETSU vs the spread.
