Could ‘23 actually not be a rebuild year?

I think 2023 is the most pivotal year for UT ever. If they can be competitive next year, then the recruiting will pull them through and 2024 will be ‘the’ year. Much like K. Smart in to 2016 and Saban in 2008(?)

He quickly moved into my top 3 list this year, and his athletic abilities only accounts for about 25% of his qualifying accomplishments that gets him in the top 3.

The scandal wasn’t the coaches poll voting for Nebraska, but the AP voting for Michigan. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that they wouldn’t have come within 4 TDs of Nebraska that year.

Nebraska was 10 x's the team as UM was, it wasn't even close. Their O-line was a freaking bulldozer and their run game couldn't be stopped.

it will be hard for us to get any sympathy votes for getting demoralized by USCe. Giving up 63 points is a killer. Rattler threw for about as many td's against the Vols as he threw in their other 11 games. Still a puzzler as to what happened. Will we ever know the truth? Do fans deserve to know the truth. Is it the fans business to be privy to the inside dealings of a team. I don't know.

You know what REALLY sucks for UF? They just went woke and revoked their star QB recruit's scholarship offer because video surfaced of him repeating the N-word as he sang along with a rap song and he's *gasp* white.

The QB room should start to get interesting if Anthony Richardson doesn't return next year.

were true, IF ANY, but I do know this--Banks makes a difference.  He is NOT a great linebacker, but he does set the tone and brings it every play.  Not a bad example of the energy this defense absolutely has to bring.

He's a freaking fantastic player, without a doubt, but it makes my stomach turn that (if the rumors are true) that he could have cost UT a shot at the NC.
